Wheels…

I found lots of old cars at the Wings, Wheels and Steam event including many American 40’s and 50’s cars. My favourites will always be the British cars that I grew up with. The Austin A35 evokes particular memories as my Mum and Dad had an estate version in the late 50’s.

Wings…

I didn’t take many photos of planes being flown, but when I started to walk home I spotted this…. What’s it doing there? The good folks at Google indicates that it is probably a Noord 1002 which is a Messerschmitt BF108 built under license in France from 1942. This is the one mentioned in Wikipedia.

Wings Wheels and Steam

The next few posts will include some photos I took at the Wings Wheels and Steam event at White Waltham Airport last weekend. I was planning to go on Saturday, but it was a bit damp to say the least. Sunday was better so I went over after lunch. Wings Wheels and Steam.
