Nearly a year on – Salisbury by steam

I’ve been really busy this year consequently I haven’t posted in a long time. We went to Salisbury by steam yesterday. Had a great day and took some photos. Naturally we traveled first class!

The Caves at Cheddar

About a month ago my wife and I had a long weekend in Bristol. One one of our days out we went to Cheddar Gorge. We’ve been there before but the caves are always worth a visit. I’m not sure the Goblins are real though!

Anyhow, the Singapore Botanical Gardens were fantastic and the National Orchid Gardens were even better. When we arrived it was tipping down with rain – which is why some of the views don’t have any […]

Singapore Marina Sands Hotel

Apparently they made enough money in a year from the Casino to pay the several billion dollar building cost. Who’d have thought of designing twin towers with a ship on top! Mad! The stern end has a viewing deck with a restaurant/bar and the other end contains the swimming pool for the hotel. Believe it […]
